Personal Review - Shutterfly 8x8 Hard Cover Photobook

Earlier in the month I discovered in my inbox an e-mail from Shutterfly.com (Shutterfly usually e-mails once a day) with a coupon code for a free 8x8 hard cover 20 page photo book. I took them up on their offer and designed my 20 page Disney vacation album using free downloads from A Grieving Mommy. I placed my order on the 12th and received my bright orange box this morning. After further inspection of my book I am more than satisfied. The colors were spot on and vibrant, the pages were thick (but not too thick), and the price was right, this regularly $40 book only cost me $8 (tax & shipping and handling). It wasn't all good however, I do not like how Shutterfly puts a bar code on the back of every book and there is no option to get rid of the shutterfly logo like there is on blurb, even if I have to pay for it I would like to have the option to get rid of both of those things. Overall I am thrilled at the quality of my book that came out far better than the first paperback book I ordered from them last year.

Special Delivery

I was searching for inspiration for my new packaging and found exactly what I was looking for on a DIY blog. I ran out to Michael's and picked up all the necessary supplies and this is the final result. Now each clients disc (with a custom disc label) will be delivered in a sweet new entirely recyclable package.
